True Shaper Classic Waist Cincher Before & After: This is my first attempt at blogging so here I am, writing about the TrueShapers Womens Classic 3 Hook Waist Cincher designated for every day use (not for working out). For the record, I’m wearing the Waist Cincher for 6-8 hours/day and not wearing it while working out.
I must say I was little hesitant at first when asked to blog about the shape wear product. I thought, what do I have to lose – other than weight hopefully, right?
Anywho, I came into this shape wear challenge with an open mind – I’d like to say I’m a pretty athletic girl. I do try to get to the gym at least 3 times a week if possible. I did notice the first time i slipped on the shape wear i felt it slimmed down the lumps and bumps (yes, and even the excess weight), as well as lifting and accentuating the parts that need more *oomph*. Personally I felt the shape wear felt more comfortable with dresses over pants.
29″ waist: The first few days were a struggle – I almost felt like the garment was too tight and maybe purchased the wrong size. Driving was a bit difficult as the garment felt like it was slipping up into my armpits – it forced me to sit straight and I became very conscientious with certain food that would bloat me as silly as that sounds. After half way through the first week the garment started to feel a little more bearable. I slowly started to notice by end of week the garment was looser and the first hook that I once struggled only 4 days prior (as crazy as that sounds) was starting to feel lose.
Inching my way into the second hook – The first day was a bit snug and took some time adjusting to the garment. The typical New England weather brought in a warm front so I took advantage of the beautiful outdoors and did half hour power walks on my lunch breaks. I began to notice additional discomfort when i began to perspire (although it wasn’t much, it felt uncomfortable to me). I’m not too sure how this would feel in the heat of the summer…that could be my next blog attempt perhaps?
27.5″ waist: The 3rd and final hook! Man was this hard. I found myself by end of the work day (3pm-ish) taking the entire garment off at the office. It was definitely exciting to see my progress over the past few weeks and didn’t think I’d ever inch my way into the 3rd hook.
This is a great investment – I felt sexier, slimmer and had better posture. I continue to wear it after my 3 week challenge.
