I tried this Bella Shapers Waist Cincher before I tried the one I eventually went with – TrueShapers. Here’s my experience with this product. I didn’t do before & after photos because I decided not to use this product based on this issues I had with it.
The positives: In terms of this waist cincher providing a way to maintain good posture, YES, this hits the spot. When you’re wearing this thing, you have no other option than to sit up straight. It’s pretty great. And if you engage your core while you’re seated, it will help with that as well.
I can’t comment on the results this gave me, as far as melting away fat or shrinking my waist, because – as stated above – I didn’t use it.
There’s actual rubber on the front of this shaper. I smell like car tires.
The hooks are big, but the eyes are small, which makes putting this on impossible. I broke 2 nails trying to put this on. I suggest starting at the 4th hook down, then moving up and closing the top 3, then doing the rest of the bottom.
In the image below, you’ll see the rubber that’s on this piece. Not a fan.
I have a 30″ waist. I tried on the XL and basically had to use all my strength just to get this closed on the largest set of hooks. I can’t imagine a person with a waist larger than mine even attempting to get this around their body.
So basically, I hated this so much that I decided to go with a different brand to do my waist training.
